Purbeck Mobility is proud to support local charities.

In 2010 we were proud to present a wheelchair to The Friends of the Dolphin Charity who operate a specially adapted motor boat to enable disabled and handicapped people and their carers to enjoy the beauty of Poole Harbourand its bays, rivers and creeks. The photo shows Bob Richardson with volunteers of the charity.

Purbeck Mobility Ltd, and Lifewheels before, are proud to supply the MS Society with mobility scooters that are given to MS sufferers in our local area. These transform their lives, enabling them to get around the local towns and villages as well as visit much of the amazing scenery of the Jurassic Coast.

From left to right:
Sterling Sapphire 2 in blue. This is a car transportable 4 mph Class 2 mobility scooter and is fitted with indicators and front and year lights. A popular scooter for pavements and hard surfaced paths. Available for purchase and hire.

A rare Sterling Elite XS fitted with factory sourced bodywork. This a heavy duty 8mph Class 3 scooter with excellent weather protection and windscreen wipers. Sadly, the bodywork kit is no longer available but the Elite XS is an excellent choice for users faced with steep hills and off-road aspirations. Available for purchase and hire.

A workhorse of our hire fleet. Class 3 and suitable for the heavier user. Available for hire.

Our Birthday

Tuesday, August 16th, 2011

On the 26th June 2010 we celebrated our 1st birthday with an open day. The photograph shows our fleet of hire scooter displaying Union Flags. The flags and the Vote Rascal sign in the window were promotional material originally provided by Electric Mobility for use in the General Election campaign of the previous month. We recycle whenever we can!
